Long morning bus rides.. Its always been my personal time of the day. Nothing beats waking up to a rushed morning and having a long ride to soothe you through the day. powered by performancing firefox
Its like a time for being in touch with your inner soul, to rejoice, to give thanks for the morning given to us. I plug into my mp3 and listen to my favourites. When the bus comes rambling along, i find a comfortable seat and maybe closing ur eyes will help that day, or maybe sitting up and looking at the vehicles passing you wld prepare you for the day ahead. Whatever it is, its always a moment filled with peace, peace with yourself and your surroundings.
I guess its just me but i notice the little things that happens on the bus rides. Sometimes its being on the same bus for consecutive days, how no matter what time the bus arrives, when we reach toa payoh we'll always pass this lady walking her little jack russell across a traffic light. Haha and that jack russell will always be cheekily trying to leap at everyone crossing by and the lady will just look happy & contented.
There's the transition to braddell station after the bus ride comes to an end. its another station i love, all quiet and so NEAR to yck. Its much better this way rather than taking 14 stops from kembangan to yck with no seats.
This morning was somehow different, i was more at ease with myself than usual, i was happy, i felt free and lighthearted. I took a different path from everyone else, treading thru the stadium and the hill to the back gate most ppl dont use. the sight of the green hill made me feel even better, (sth thearupatic bout wide plains of green) haha i even started singing the john mayer song that was playing. Anyone nearby would think im crazy, i checked first though. Pretty sure it was just me.. =)
Really gd day after all, =) haha i ordered a shirt and skirt from american eagle for just 35 bucks. cant wait for it to be shipped over, got myself a french manicure set for personal selling, will have to wait for my nails to grow though. Discussed with hui hui about floorball and the match tmr, i pray we will at least draw with RP.
