Its just you and me bloggie cause there’s no one else.
I just learnt over the weekend that what you can do with just two days just amazed me. I thought it was like a touch and go trip when my dad mentioned that we were going to go to tioman for two days. The trip did start off abit bumpy, we messed up the ferry terminals, going to ferri gamu only to find that we had missed the terminal which we were originally there to collect a calling card for a future trip to P.Rawa and it was a thrilling 30mins ride speeding back down the highway to catch the right boat at the right place. We found out that our stop was the last of the six stops along tioman and it took us a good 3hours ferry ride. We met our tourguide, and I thought he was stiff and boring only to learn that he’s as weird, crazy and cranky the way that was unexpectedly fun. Well maybe only for me, cause he just enjoyed grabbing my arm and leading me down underwater to touch those pretty corals lying down at the bottom of the sea bed and when I came up for air because the pressure was crazy at the bottom of the sea, he wld laugh his weird laugh and lead me to do some underwater stunt a few minutes later.
So if you see a few pictures of us later with marks on our face, it was his idea, to make sure he went to our cabins to draw red Indian markings on our face before we went to sea, for what reason, I don’t know, but it was a good laugh. I got a scar on my face, my bro got a ‘I am superman’ on his arm and hao jie had a ‘I love mum’ like what the hell, it was hilarious, because the truth was contrary to what he wrote…
The cabin was pretty, though run down, we had a full frontal view of the sea, hours was spent just gazing out to it early in the morning, evening and night where all kinds of thoughts hits you. I guess it kinda soothes, waking up early in the morning to find your cabin immersed in the sea, especially when it was a great day to take a boat out to sea to take a look at one of the nicest coral reefs I’ve seen in my life. I saw huge sea urchins, swordfishes, touched jelly fishes, spotted a sea turtle, a small shark amongst plenty.
You know I had so much fun, not a moment dull, but even when life was giving you its best, emptiness will always feel more acute at those moments. Its strange living it up but having no one to tell, to share. That’s why I write, it’s a form of communication to no one.
